The upcoming iPhone 15 Pro will offer a frosted back glass design and a range of color choices

Apple’s iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro will resemble last year’s versions quite a bit, but a recent leak has highlighted one key distinction. Apple will deliver the basic iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus with the same frosted back glass surface as Pro models, claims the same Weibo user that accurately reported the yellow iPhone 14. This would make the phones appear and feel more upscale.

iPhone 15 new cyan colour

The insider also claims that a new cyan colour option will be available for the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus. Every generation, Apple likes to provide new colour options, and the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max are anticipated to do the same.

The iPhone 14 line-up will have other outward modifications as well, but these are likely to be the most apparent and prominent in Apple’s marketing.

The Pro versions will replace the famous mute switch with a brand-new programable Action button and drastically lower the size of the bezel, while the entire iPhone 15 range will embrace USB-C (with MFi restrictions). The latter has been anticipated for a while, but it doesn’t happen until there is increased international legal pressure for the adoption of a uniform charging standard.

Pro Max will come with an optical zoom lens

Standard iPhone 15 models will generally adopt the design and functionality of the previous generation, as has become Apple’s norm in recent years. That entails switching to Dynamic Island, the A16 Bionic Chipset, and the pill-shaped cutout of the iPhone 14 Pro. The iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max will upgrade to a next-generation 3nm A17 chip with performance that is hardly credible, and the Pro Max will come with an optical zoom lens for the first time in an iPhone.
