After 27 years of marriage, Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky have separated. The breakup was revealed on Monday by People magazine. The two, according to the outlet’s source who is close to the couple, “have been separated for a while now but are still living under the same roof.”
The source continued, “They stay friendly as they decide what’s next for them and their family.
Richards, 54, and Umansky, 53, got married two years after they first met in 1994. In an Instagram post commemorating their 26th wedding anniversary in January 2022, real estate broker Umansky referred to Richards as “the best wife in the world.”
“I love you so much, and I thank you for always being there for me,” he continued. For your assistance throughout our entire lives, as well as for the lovely life and four children we have raised together.
The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star posted family photos to Instagram in June to wish Umansky a happy Father’s Day.
Richards expressed her gratitude for the amazing father her daughters have in teaching them to be adventurous and live life to the fullest. They would agree that you deserve the best Dad award because you are always there for them and lack the ability to say “no.”
“Thank you,” Umansky said with three red heart emojis. Additionally, Umansky’s Instagram account still states that he is “married to @kylerichards18 and the father of 4 amazing daughters.”
Three daughters—Alexia Simone, 27, Sophia Kylie, 23, and Portia, 15—belong to the couple. Farrah Brittany Aldjufrie, Richards’ oldest child, was born when the reality TV star was married to Guraish Aldjufrie from 1988 until 1992. She is now 34 years old.
The two haven’t spoken openly about their breakup yet.
On Monday, Richards posted a selfie with Umansky to her Instagram Story, in which they are commemorating the birthday of television personality Faye Resnick. Umansky also reposted the image to his Instagram Story.
Following Richards’ appearance in a photo without her wedding band, Umansky denied rumours that their marriage was having problems, which led to the couple’s separation. In a recent episode of “Two T’s in a Pod,” hosted by Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave and Tamra Judge, Umansky declared, “We’re not getting divorced.”
“I mean, it’s very silly. The females all, you know, chose to discuss that one ridiculous tale on ‘Housewives,’ and as a result, it has become a plotline.
Richards addressed rumours about her marriage earlier in March while attending the 31st Annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party.
We simply discussed that in the automobile, she remarked, “the analysing of everything is so. “The rumours regarding weight reduction or I’m spotted working out at the gym without a ring. I just… I can no longer keep up… Now, I hardly even give a damn. I only know that my anxiety is at its lowest point ever and that I simply cannot worry about it any more.
